The AAF Silver Medal is your basic lifetime achievement award for those who have in some way made a fairly immense mark on Seattle advertising. If you have somebody in mind, submit a nomination letter explaining why your candidate is icon-worthy. Selection will then be made by the medal committee based on the following criteria: contribution to the company, contribution to the community, contribution to advertising, and overall creativity in general.

  • Contribution to their company. The recipient must have successfully led an ad agency, advertiser, media outlet or advertising service in the Seattle area.
  • Creative ability. No matter which discipline they’re in, the recipient must have worked to raise standards in the advertising profession.
  • Contribution to the advancement of advertising. The recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession.
  • Contribution to the community. The recipient should be actively involved as someone who gives back to the community.

Send all nominations via email or postal mail to Ashley Ernst by Tuesday, February 21, 2012.

Here is how you should enter.
Download the Official Rules and Guidelines PDF document (below.) Find the right categories, gather up the work, and do whatever else the PDF tells you to do. Click "ENTER NOW" (light bulb – top right) to submit your entries. If you have any questions, go to the Contact page and find the appropriate question answerer.

Here is how much it costs for those who should enter.

Professionals: $75 per entry per member. $95 for non-members. And $25 per entry extra for late entries.

Students: $30 per entry. And $10 per entry extra for late entries.

Deadlines are important.
That's why God created late fees.
